About the event
The course is designed for all physicians and nurses involved in trauma care within the hospital setting, regardless of specialty. The objective is to strengthen participants’ ability to recognise severe injury early, prioritise correctly and make sound decisions from emergency department arrival through operative care, intensive care and post-resuscitation management.
The programme combines focused lectures delivered by an experienced international faculty with case-based panel discussions, addressing real-world medical and surgical challenges. Differences between adult and paediatric trauma care are highlighted throughout, with practical implications for assessment, resuscitation, operative strategy and system coordination.
