Integrated Societies are formally affiliated, specialty-focused surgical organizations that operate under the umbrella of the International Society of Surgery (ISS/SIC). Each society independently represents and advances its specific surgical discipline — pursuing its own educational initiatives, research activities, and international collaborations. At the same time, they engage with the broader ISS/SIC community through shared scientific programs and flagship events such as the International Surgical Week, contributing to the global advancement of surgery as a whole.
